What can I ask my hair stylist to do to make my hair shinier? Isn't there some sort of gloss?

I'm going to get my hair cut and colored on friday. But, I've noticed lately that my hair has lost it's lustre, really. It used to be so glossy and shiny and now it's not really like that. Is there something I can tell my stylist to do to fix this? Isn't there some sort of gloss that can be mixed in with your hair color that will help this? thank you for your help!
