Ask your friends who they go to and how does the perons that does their hair do. Also keep trying beauticians till u fint the right one, but NOT too many or your hair will start to break off. If u change beauticians too often and let too many people in your hair your hair will start to break off. So DONT try too many! Holla back!!! Ya girl, Miss *Princess* $Diva$ !Jade!
word of mouth is the best way. You just have to try and see if they are good with your type hair. Then follow them where ever they go forever.
to find the right stylist you decide what you want in a stylist.. do you want someone young that might want to do something fun or would you like someone older -may be more experienced do you want to go to a big salon where you might not get the best customer service or a smaller one that you may get better customer service...
it may take a while, but try out different salons.





even though they're more expensive, nicer salons seem to have stylists that can create more styles (in my experience, anyways). i live in minnesota, and i don't know if they have these anywhere else, but i love rocco altobelli.
Look around. A good stylist will talk to you, give you a free consultation (though you may have to make an appointment). Ask friends whose hair you like where they go, look around at the salons for a style you like. And make sure the salon is clean and hygenic.
