If a hair stylist cancel my appointment after she was already supposed to be there do i get a refund?

I had an hair extension appointment at 9am and a quarter after they told me they have to postpone the appointment, in my contract it says i have to tell them 48 in advance if i cant show up or i have to pay $50 can i ask for the same?If a hair stylist cancel my appointment after she was already supposed to be there do i get a refund?
only if it states it in the contract.
